Thank you for sharing this. This email's subject line, even without seeing the email, has a lot of red-flags, in the copy itself.
Here are the red flags to look out for:

1. Does the email say it is sent from secure.norton.com (or potentially another @norton.com domain)? If yes, it is from us. If not, it's probably not from us. I've seen lots of these scam emails sent from gmail accounts. That's classic phishing attempt and poorly executed at that! We don't do that :)
2. Does the email have multiple grammatical errors? Yes...like this one? It's probably not from us, since we have a highly capable copy editing team.

3. Is it referencing a product you do not have or a credit card you don't use? Then there is a good chance this is also not from us.
